Dear Alumni Colleagues

I believe you have received my earlier email about our planned AIT Day 2010 on September 6-8, 2010, when all alumni of AIT are cordially invited to a reunion, and also to celebrate AIT's new Charter, which will formally establish AIT as an intergovernmental organization after 50+ years of existence.

The main event of the AIT Day 2010 on September 7, 2010 will be presided by Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn (Princess Sirindhorn), who shall officially be inducted as the first ever member of the AIT Hall of Fame. Then, Her Royal Highness will present Hall of Fame Trophy to 11 other Hall of Fame Inductees who have had significant professional achievements, and supported AIT. With the seed funding of 1 million Baht from Her Royal Highness, the assembly will also witness the campaign kick-off under the newly established AIT Endowment Foundation. I write this email to cordially invite you and your family to join this home-coming and reunion, and to witness our senior alumni being inducted in the AIT Hall of Fame for the first time. You and your family should be able to revisit your fond memories at the AIT campus, and meet your former professors as well as your former student colleagues. In the afternoon of September 6, you are cordially invited to participate in the Brainstorming Session to learn and discuss about the new model of AIT's satellite campuses. Then on September 7, you can join an open house at your former school before attending the main event at the AIT Center Auditorium. In the evening, you and your family are invited to a Grand Reception Dinner on the campus. On September 8, AITAA Thailand, through its late President, Mr. Chukiart Photayanuvat, and its current acting President, Mr. Thanin Bumrungsap, has kindly extended the invitation for all overseas visitors to join a technical/cultural tour. Note that all these events are specifically organized for you with no charge.
